This is part 5 in a 5 part series on how to come up with high-quality product ideas.
If you want the complete shortcut to creating your first digital product using AI…
Quick recap:
If you’ve been following along this week, here’s what you’ve accomplished so far:
Identified a specific person with a specific problem
Validated that this problem is worth paying to solve
And defined the outcome your niche wants to achieve
Today, I'm going to show you how to turn all that research into a profitable product idea.

You know from yesterday that people buy to achieve an outcome. They want to "build an audience" or "lose 20 pounds" or "make $10K/month."
But as soon as you promise you can help them get their desired result, their brain immediately goes:
"Yeah, but…how is THIS different?"
If you don’t answer that question and show them exactly how you’ll deliver the outcome, they’ll scroll right past your offer and hunt for something new.
They’ve heard all those “get-rich,” “get-fit,” and “get-famous” claims before.
And they've tried other solutions that didn’t work.
Your product is their new “mechanism.”
A mechanism is your named, systematic approach to solving their problem.
It's how you deliver your solution.
For example:
Lose 20 pounds → The 6-Week Metabolic Reset Method
Make $10K/month → The 90-Day Revenue Recovery System
Get more clients → The 5-Touch Client Magnet System
For Ship 30 for 30, people wanted to start writing online (the outcome), and Ship 30 for 30 immediately told them exactly how they'd be doing it: shipping 30 pieces of content in 30 days. Our mechanism is very different from"just write" advice.
When you can explain step-by-step what your product does and why it’s different, you separate your offer from every other generic claim out there.
This clarity helps your prospect believe your solution can get them the result they want.
Here's why named mechanisms work so well:
A few reasons:
They feel doable. "Ship 30 for 30" immediately tells someone exactly what they'll be doing. It’s concrete. And they can visualize following the process. It also doesn't sound overwhelming or impossible—and people love easy!
They sound different. When everyone else is saying "lose weight," you're saying "reset your metabolism" which it stands out because it’s different.
They make you curious. Your brain wants to know: "What exactly happens in those 6 weeks? How does the metabolic reset work? What are the 5 touches in the client magnet system?"
The mechanism creates intrigue around your method, which pulls people toward your solution instead of you having to make a bigger better promise than your competitors.
Now, let's use AI to generate 5 different mechanisms.
The AI prompt I'm about to share will take your niche, problem and outcome and generate 5 different mechanisms you can choose from.
Each mechanism will be:
A different product format (course, toolkit, membership, etc.)
Targeted at a different segment within your niche
A different business model
This gives you options to pick the mechanism that fits your strengths, schedule, and goals.
Here's the prompt:
