Ahoy, Digital Writers!

Justin Welsh says, “The fastest way to come up with content ideas is by using systems.”

We agree.

And you’re not going to believe you’re eyes when you see how many different LinkedIn posts you can create using this easy 3-step prompt system—straight out of the “Golden Age” of copywriting.

Let’s get into it (so you can start filling up your content calendar for the next month)!

Step 1: Pick An Opportunity

Think about your reader / audience / customer:

  1. What do they want right now?

  2. What are they hoping for in the future?

  3. What are they afraid will eventually happen?

  4. What frustrations do they want to get away from?

These are all problems.

And each one of these problems is your opportunity as a writer to help! Which is ultimately the job of your content—to educate, inform, entertain, or motivate. What you write about helps the reader transform from one way of thinking, doing, being, or believing to another way of thinking, doing, being, or believing.

Make a list and pick one opportunity.

(Try the below prompt if you need a few ideas to get started.)
