Ahoy, Digital Writers!
I am obsessed with learning different AI writing techniques.
And yesterday I got lost in a 3.5-hour rabbit hole. But there was a fruit at the bottom of the tunnel! Because I discovered Matthew Lakajev (The #1 fastest growing LinkedIn creator in Australia).
I walked away with a dead-simple ChatGPT technique that he uses for writing a LinkedIn post like his favorite creators, in less than 60 seconds, without typing, and without editing a single word!
Sounds too good to be true, right?
Let’s check it out.
Matthew Lakejev’s Method To Remix Any LinkedIn Post In Under A Minute
The magic in Matthew's process is in how he reverse engineers a popular post into a set of questions that you, as the creator, can turn around and answer.
In your way
In your voice
For your context
This makes it very easy for you to use ChatGPT to repurpose a proven post's structure into something unique!
Nerding out here for a second: the "technical" description for what we are about to do is called "Rhetorical Structure." A rhetorical structure is a method for describing the logical organization of a text. It's how words and sentences fit together to make your writing clear, convincing, and flow in a neat package that your reader will enjoy, like LEGOs.
Which means you can pick a piece of writing, leverage ChatGPT to unpack why it works (rhetorical structure), and then create something that follows the exact same pattern—remixed in your voice. Amazing! But we don’t stop there.
To make the process “user friendly,” we turn the structure into a set of questions.
Then all you have to is answer each question—like talking to a friend!
The Setup
You are going to need 3 things to follow along here:
ChatGPT (The “Plus” version works best)
A LinkedIn post (We will use this one as an example.)
Speech-to-text enabled on your computer (or install your favorite plug-in)
Voice dictation is only necessary if you want to test the promise “without typing.”
Full transparency: talking is waaaaay easier and faster for giving ChatGPT a laundry list of instructions or answering questions like we are going to do here in a minute.
With all that out of the way, let’s get into the steps.
