Ahoy, Digital Writers!

Today, we bring you Wizard of Odd Marketing:

Luke Matthews

Luke is a LinkedIn-focused marketer with 134k followers on the platform. He runs a ghostwriting agency and has been marketing on LinkedIn since 2020, and making money on social media since 2016. Currently, he works primarily with AI startups and newsletters, helping them grow their accounts and get more clients.

In his spare time, he walks around the block in Paraguay, eats a lot of steak, lifts weights, and screams woo occasionally.

Here’s Luke:

Let me begin by saying, I love this prompt.

Why?

Because it eliminates "blank page syndrome."

You get a nicely formatted LinkedIn post that is 80% of the way finished. Simply fact-check the results and edit the final 20% to finish things off! I used this prompt for a couple of my client posts last night, and no one would ever know.... (except that I tell the world in my posts, and well, now you all know so…)

I use ChatGPT to tell stories. But nobody can tell.

But what about storytelling? Everyone agrees that AI can struggle with telling a good story. Well...not everyone. Because, for this guide today. I'm going to destroy the myth that ChatGPT can't write stories.

It can.

Let me show you.

How To Create A LinkedIn Storytelling Post With ChatGPT

First off, this is going to be quick.

Because I know you are here for the prompt.

So, let’s get to it with 3 simple steps.

  • Step 1: First, go find 10 LinkedIn storytelling posts you like. The reason you need 10 is because we want AI to extract an accurate tone of voice, so that it can recreate it in your new post.

  • Step 2: Copy/paste each of the posts into a doc. Separate each post with the format: "Post 1:" then paste the post. Labeling each post helps ChatGPT distinguish between each post.

  • Step 3: Now, go to ChatGPT and use this prompt. I get the best results using GPT4. But you can use GPT3.5 or Claude or Gemini. The prompt is universal.

That’s it.

I told you I’d be quick.

Prompt 1: Write 2 New LinkedIn Posts
