How I made this YouTube Short in 39 minutes using only AI

This is unbelievable

I just created a 60-second YouTube Short using 100% AI.

It’s incredible. It’s weird. And…honestly a little terrifying.

Why?

Because it looks like me. Sounds like me. But it’s not me.

Here’s how it all went down:

I started with a screenshot from a podcast interview I did with Ali Abdaal:

The real Nicolas Cole.

Then:

• I removed the text in Canva and zoomed in on my face.

• I asked ChatGPT (using the new 4o image model) to generate a portrait of me. It’s not perfect—but it’s freakishly close. (Thoughts on the hair?)

Next:

• I grabbed a tweet from my feed and asked ChatGPT to rewrite it as a 60-second Short script.

• I cleaned up the script and dropped it into ElevenLabs.

• ElevenLabs cloned my voice with just 10 seconds of audio and turned the script into a lifelike narration.

Then:

• I uploaded the AI image + AI voice to Hedra, which stitched them into a video.

• I brought that into CapCut to add captions, b-roll, music, and some light transitions.

Start to finish: less than an hour.

Even though you can 100% tell it’s AI-generated, it’s still amazing.
