Attract New Email Subscribers With Your Own AI Mini-SaaS App (5 Plug-And-Play Prompts For Non-Coders)
I turned my ghostwriting Social Content Generator "mega-prompt" into a fully functional Mini-SaaS app using nothing but Claude, Lovable, and Kit.
Landing page, email signups, the whole lead funnel—starting from absolute zero.
Copy my exact process and you can start attracting new email subscribers with your own Mini-SaaS in less than an hour (without writing a single line of code).
Today, I'm going to walk you through 5 plug-and-play prompts that will help you:
Brainstorm a Mini-SaaS lead magnet
Write all your landing page copy
Build your app from scratch
And wire everything together seamlessly
All you need to do is follow the instructions below, run the prompts with your personal information, and then sit back & let Claude do the heavy lifting for you.
For context: I'm a writer, not an engineer.
So if I can build an app, you can too.
Here's exactly how I did it:
Step 1: Brainstorm Lead Magnet Ideas With Claude
Every successful lead funnel starts with a trade.
You give away something of value in exchange for an email address. So this first prompt will help you brainstorm app lead magnet ideas - which is going to give you the foundation for growing your audience and getting you leads.
The reason an app is a great lead magnet is because it gives your audience something they **can use—not just download and forget.
Most lead magnets are passive: PDFs, checklists, even free courses.
An app, on the other hand, delivers active utility.
It helps your audience do something:
Calculate something
Organize something
Track something
Spit out an answer
Remove a step
It gives them a result.
It works because it actively solves a problem for them in less time with less headaches.
Now, if you already have a lead magnet, you can skip this step. But if you want an app idea, then make sure you run this prompt. So, crack open Claude, copy/paste the prompt below, and then fill in the variables in the input section with your personal info.
Here’s the prompt:
You're a business strategist who specializes in creating problem hierarchies for digital products and services. I need you to map out a complete problem hierarchy for my client's business.
INPUT:
- Industry/Niche: {Your Industry}
- Target Audience: {Your Audience}
- Main Offer: {Your Main Offer}
TASK:
Create a 2-tier problem hierarchy that flows from small problems to the ultimate transformation.
OUTPUT FORMAT:
TIER 1: THE MAIN PROBLEM (What their paid offer solves)
- State the big, expensive problem their audience faces
- What happens if this problem isn't solved?
- What's the ultimate transformation the main offer provides?
TIER 2: SMALL PROBLEMS (What lead magnets solve)
Create 5 medium-sized problems that are:
- Components of the main problem
- Solvable with a single resource/guide
- Valuable enough that people would opt-in for the solution
Format:
"Problem: [SPECIFIC ISSUE]" →
"Solution: [WHAT YOU'D CREATE]"
"Lead Magnet: [WHAT YOUR AUDIENCE GETS]"
NATURAL PROGRESSION:
Show the customer journey from free solution to paid comprehensive solution.
Make this specific to their expertise and audience psychology.
MINI-SAAS IDEAS:
Recommend 3 potential "Mini-SaaS" ideas I could create as a lead magnet.
A Mini-SaaS solves one hyper-specific problem in as few interactions as possible.
Think simple inputs to automate what normally takes 10X longer.
Must be capable of prototyping with Claude artifacts / AI-powered apps.
After hitting “send” on the prompt above, Claude will give you a list of 5 different lead magnets and app ideas you could run with based on your specific niche & target audience.
Spend a few minutes reviewing the options and choose the one you like the most.
Once you have your app idea locked in, move onto the next step.

Step 2: Write Your Landing Page Copy
Now that you have a lead magnet idea, the next step is to write your opt-in copy.
This is how you offer your app.
Great lead magnets die on poorly written landing pages, so this is a critical step in the process. Writing the landing page copy forces you to get crystal clear on what transformation you're promising and why someone should even care in the first place.
The good news is you only need to know 5 things to write your landing page:
Your ideal customer.
The promise you are making.
The reason people might object to your promise.
The way you deliver on the promise.
And how you will call your reader to action
That’s it.
Think through the above 5 points first and then run the below prompt to write all your above-the-fold landing page copy in 5-10 minutes. Claude writes each part of the landing page one step at a time. So, all you gotta do is review the output it gives you at each stage and tell it how you’d like to proceed (so it can move onto the next step).
Remember to insert your lead magnet idea from Step 1 into the prompt before you run it!
